The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, the company pays us a commission. You pay nothing extra — the price is identical whether you use our link or go to the site directly.
The details
BrandKit Lab participates in affiliate programs operated by companies whose tools we review, including (among others) programs run through PartnerStack, Impact, and companies’ own partner platforms. When we link to a product, that link may include a tracking code that tells the company the sale originated with us.
This disclosure is made in accordance with the guidelines from the Federal Trade Commission of the United States on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).
What commissions don’t buy?
- Scores. Our Lab Verdict ratings are decided before any affiliate link is added to an article. Several tools we’ve rated highly pay us nothing; several tools with generous affiliate programs have received critical reviews.
- Coverage. Companies cannot pay to be reviewed, to see drafts, or to have negative points removed.
- Silence. If a tool has a real problem — confusing billing, poor support, misleading claims — it goes in the review regardless of the commission attached.
Why do we use affiliate links at all
Testing tools costs money — we pay for the subscriptions and packages we review. Affiliate commissions fund that testing and keep the site free to read, without banner ads or sponsored posts.
